today is tuesday. isn't it weird when your work week starts on tuesday instead of monday? last night was cool because EVERWOOD was on and it was really good. i'm really getting into that show. anyone who doesn't already watch it should start. corey likes it too. at least he watches it when it's on. i don't know if that means he likes it or not though.
we got a lot of stuff done this weekend.
saturday we drove around and bought jumper cables to see if we could jump the battery of my car. it didn't work. something else is wrong with it. corey tells me it's the flux capacitor and i believe whatever he says. he's really smart.
later that night we went to scoots "chinese new years party" and he made a lot of hot and sour soup. i burned my tongue on it and that was no fun.
sunday we went to breakfast at julia's in wallingford which is always busy and always good. i watched a girl dump about 2 cups of syrup on her french toast and then her sister(?) caught me looking and i felt dumb. also, this other girl was cackling at the comics she was reading and it was annoying. she said "HAHAHAHAHA! THIS IS THE FUNNIEST COMIC I HAVE EVER READ!!" and her boyfriend just looked on. it was sad.
after that we walked to the u district and went to the bookstore and spent too much money and then to the magazine store where we bought too many magazines. we are going to need a new bookshelf soon. i got Vice Dos & Don'ts : 10 Years of VICE Magazine's Street Fashion Critiques and it is amazing. everyone should come over to my house and read it with me.
monday corey caught up on work and i went to fred meyer where i got hit on in the meat department. hit on in the meat department! HA!!
oh yeah, we are getting a new (old and used but not dirty or smelly) couch next weekend. it is totally cute and i'm really excited to sleep on it and accessorize it. that means putting so many pillows on that you can't even sit on it!!

now i need to find a shop to take my piece of crap car to get fixed. PSSHA!!
