sorry marysville
brent and i went to thrift stores yesterday evening. i'm sorry to everyone in marysville (erin. do you even read this? because if you don't then i'm off the hook!) for not calling and hanging out. but we were crunched for time. thrift stores are only open for so long.
we started out at H.O.M.E which is where the old salvation army used to be and is exactly the same as the old shop and save which is now "value village". are you confused yet? okay! H.O.M.E is good because the prices are cheap and the clerks don't give a shit about anything. i don't remember what brent got (maybe a tote bag that said "LE BAG") but he went up and asked the girl "do you negotiate prices?" and she said "i'll give you half price!" brent is my hero. anyway, i got a really cute pruple sweater with hand painted buttons on it. yea!!
next we went to the goodwill and brent negotiated a shirt which i was really surprised by because the goodwill is usually a jerk about things like that. after that we went to tacos guaymas. i got fish tacos. while eating we realized that everytime we go thrifting we end up eating mexican food. weird!
after that we went to everett to the goodwill and it was about to close. i felt rushed but brent found a red peacoat for me. it was $14 which is a bit much but it was in really good condition so whatever. brent bought an adidas jacket i think. then we went to shop and save i bought a v-neck striped tank top and socks. brent bought shorts i think. it was all very fun and good.
also yesterday i got a package that i ordered a while ago. it was a tortoise shell comb and a nail brush and some soap. i ordered it from smallflower.com which is really cool. they have amazing toothbrushes. i recommend doing your online toothbrush and other fancy toiletries shopping there. yea!!
i will tell you that this afternoon i want to go home and clean our dumpy apartment up but who knows if will really happen, right? right!
