morning
corey was on vacation this past week. when i left for work yesterday he was sitting in front of the computer playing tetris and listening to TMBG. when i got home from work he was sitting in front of the computer listening to TMBG. he was wearing clean clothes though, so give him credit for that. (he also says he left the house and went to the coffee place and finished his book. believe what you will.)
we walked down to fremont yesterday to look for M-day gifts. we went into a few stores and didn't find anything good. then we went to PCCCCCC to get some dinner sammys and what-not. my sandwich was named "turkey and provolone". that sounds good right? the lable also said something about cucumbers and sweet red peppers. eeeh? peppers? i dont know. so we walked to the canal and sat down next to the water and got down to business. the business of eating sammys that is... i bet you thought i meant something else!!
so i opened my sammy is and it was DRY. and i took a bite and it was barf. luckily i had a hansen's soda thingy to wash that shit down. i could only eat half of it because it was so gross. we also had bought some pita chips and "fiery cream cheese spread" we've had the cream cheese stuff before but this time the taste stayed in the back of my mouth all night and is still there right now. anyway, i've said it before and i'll say it again: marketime has the best sammys. always. i've never had a soggy sammy. or a dry sammy.
also last night: we watched The Five Obstructions. i'm not going to lie to you, when we were in the video store corey showed it to me and said "it's about these two film makers who redo a film 5 times." so i thought to myself 'the five OBSTETRICIANS... hmmm.. well. i guess it can't be that bad. that seems like a weird subject for a 'film' and to remake it five times over? i wonder if it's like dr. T and the women? or maybe the beaver trilogy?'
(sidebar: check out frontastic's review of beaver trilogy here.)
so we watched it and here is my review:
lars von trier is a wiener!!
i forgot to say that we ended up finding m-day gifts for everyone. it is a long dangly thing made out of disc shaped shells. it is meant to dangle from a tree or where ever you want it to dangle from. i think it's a nice gift. i'd want one for myself if i were a mom or had a tree to dangle something from.
oh yeah, dude upstairs had a ladyfriend (or maybe just a friend. i don't know what gender or species it was. so i shouldn't assume) over EARLY this morning. around 5 -ish i think? i woke up because the squeaking noises were so loud. that cat kept looking up at the ceiling and the look on her face was like "what the fuck? dude! i'm a kitty and i'm trying to get some sleep here! shut the hell up!"

i went to pcc this morning and got a turkey bfast sandwich- the wrapper stuck to it, the english muffin was hard as a rock and the scrambled eggs were runny. in short pcc prepared food sucks... and the place is kind of irritating.
damn hippies.

brad, you are absolutley right. before i bought my sandwich i had this thought that maybe it was possible that pcc could be my new market time. pcc has a lot of stuff. like chocolates that are fancy and stuff. so i thought about for about five minutes. then i stopped. pcc is good for buying fancy food to send to relatives for holidays and stacy's pita chips in the cinnamin flavor. and that is about it.
ryan-
i am pretty 'tarded and can't put a link to your blog up yet. when corey updates my movable type he says that the templates will be really easy to use and switch around and even I CAN DO IT. so as soon as we do that you will have a link. along with other peeps that i know that i don't have links too. until then, i left 50thousand comments.
also, chop chop is great. more people need to say it. it would be cool to say at work but i doubt that will happen. instead i will try it on the cat. "chop chop kitty! CHOP CHOP!!"
