i sewed something yesterday and the cat wasn't annoying about it.
i know this sounds really weird to anyone who has ever had a cat in heat. but our special little baby kitty is almost pleasant compared to her normal self. last night i sat down at the sewing machine and she only chewed on the belt for about 5 seconds. then she left to make gerrgly noises and scoot around in circles on the floor. so i sewed a little pouch thing in brown corduroy and then stitched some green lines and shit in it. then i put a zipper in it. i'm going to take it to work and stitch the lining in.
i ordered some wood and acrylic handles from a trimming place online and UPS is a toot and always tries to drop them off at like 12:30. i missed them monday and tuesday. toot!!!
also yesterday: two brothers came over within 10 minutes of each other. those two brothers were..... BRENT AND BRAD! brent was doing afternoon jogging and brad was "in the neighborhood" with his new car. so we piled into brads swank-mobile and drove two blocks to the coffee shop.
i'm still hungry so i'm going to go eat more cereal and watch LHotP.

corey worked on the website for a really long time last night and added my flickr pictures and a new sqiggle at the top of the page. he is really nice and i like him. two hoots for corey!! anyway, the squiggle is my favorite part. COOL!

Where did you order the wood handles from? How much are they? I want to make a bag with bamboo handles but I've only seen them at Ho-Ann's and they cost too much.
PS: I like the squiggle too.

i bought the wood ring handle and the acrylic ring 8 and a half inch handle. they have a pretty good selection of round handles that are different then the bamboo handle. they have one acrylic striped deal that is pretty cool. HOWEVER, they are expensive($8.75 for ONE) and they don't come in pairs. bogus!! so keep that in mind. i bought some rattan handles at ho ann's on saturday and i mainly bought them because they were HUGE and way cheaper then these other ones at $5.99. i spent $38 on 4 handles at this place.
so anyway, if you want some seriously cute handles check this place out and spend the money. if not, then ho ann's is pretty reasonable.

just to let you know, i went to jo ann last night and they had handles 40% off! whoa! i bought a metal pair for less than five dollars. also, i got the handles i ordered online and they are really nice and very good quality. worth the price!
