hi. it's me. and it's friday.
i've been doing a lot sewing lately. i'm working on my third pouch thingy. i got handles in the mail and yesterday corey took me to nancy's sewing basket and pacific fabrics. i want to get some linen fabric but it's sort of expensive. i'm excited to make something with these handles but i don't want to work on it at home becuase it's dumpy and messy. also, the cat is coming out of her heat and that means that she is following me around in an annoying way. which doesn't make since because isn't she supposed to be more annoying while she's in heat? well, yeah, i guess. but baby kitty is just differnt. i don't know what her dilly is. anyway. i guess i will take her early saturday morning to the walk in place and then make an appointment to get her fixed. i guess that is how it works.
anyway, back to the sewing. so my machine is working really well and at first i only had one bobbin to use and that was annoying, especially when the bobbin wouldn't wind. so i got it to wind now AND i bought some more bobbins. also: i don't need to use a zipper foot either. that is nice.
so now i'm talking about really boring stuff that nobody cares about.
how bout that picture of saddam in his skivvies on the front page of that newspaper? ha! when i heard about it on the radio i imagined him wearing boxers. i guess not though. anyway, he's got a pretty nice body for being an old jerk. just sayin.

Hey Alison. Don't use the linen material from those pants because I'm planning on dressing like a cult leader this summer and I will need them.
In other news, I am not working on my paper right now, but I'm pretty sure that I have almost finished my research.
I really want a pair of black suede "rata" vans shoes like the ones we have. I'm going to call the outlet store and ask them if they can ship them to me. I also want a pair of black dickies that I can sew and make HELLA TIGHT.
In still other news, I'm dying to go thrift store shopping and I got two new patti smith records today. I need more smocks and possibly a pair of black or brown suede flat boots.
What are your thoughts?

brenters- i like the black suede shoes, but the leather ones are uggo. did you notice that they have different lining on the inside? i like it. at least the red and tan ones do. anyhoo,i agree about the black or brown flat boots, if you find some, tell me so i can not buy them but dream about buying them. i saw a girl walking yesterday who was wearing this tan colored blazer with the collar flipped up. but it was really short so it looked really cute. i didn't looked forced if you know what i mean. i want a jacket like hers because i believe it would look cute on me. i BELIEVE BRENT!!
