tuesday
the cat is meowing up a storm. i think she wants my attention. but she's not going to get it because i have to tell you a story!
i just went out "running" and "stair going-up". it is my new nightly excercise. i go out for about 20 minutes. one time i went seven days in a row. then i skipped four or five days. then i went for two or three days. then i didn't go for a week. you get the idea. anyway, so i went out tonight because i was sewing and i decided that i needed to give the sewing machine a break. it's old and it can only take so much.
right before i left i drank a glass of water which i know is really stupid. i got half way through my running part and had to start walking because my tummy hurt so bad!
by the time i got to the first set of stairs i go up it started drizzling. barf!! here's the exciting part of the story: when i got to the bottom of the stairs i heard a crack! what did i step on? at first i didn't care, but i decided to look anyway. it was a snail! all this clear goo was oozing everywhere and i felt really bad. i am a terrible person! i examined it a little closer and there was a non-clear gooey part sitting a little ways away from the cracked shell and stuff. i think it was maybe an eyeball. and when i say eyeball i mean one of those little feeler thingys. or something.
so that is my story.
oh, here is another one: last wednesday or thursday i was out and as i was jumping off the sidewalk i saw a hugh pile of barf that looked like hawaiian pizza. it was a perfect round pizza shape and all of the 'toppings' were arranged nicely too.
i know it was barf because when i ran passed it the next day the area had turned white. i know that barf turns white if you don't hose it off because someone barfed on the sidewalk outside of the laundry mat three times and nobody did anything about it. it turned white. it was the worst. i still try and step around those areas when i walk by there.

dear alison,
yesterday at work i found out that there is a co-op in brooklyn that i could work at. which reminds me i have to go to their website and email them. anyway, the guy who was talking about it was my co-worker, who at the time was arguing with a customer over whether the co-ops in new york were dirty or not. then he kept talking about "newyorkcentrism" and how he hated "newyorkcentrism" and how everyone was becoming a "newyorkcentrist." it was annoying/hilarious to me.
