afternoon
i am listing to AM 880 KIXI out of a radio shaped like a piece of cheese. the cheese has a mouse sitting on top of it. if the volume is turned up loud enough the mouse mouth will move like it's singing a song. cat stevens is on now. "morning has broken"... i remember playing that in 6th grade band...ooooh. this is soo good. i feel like i'm at the chiropractor's office getting my bones moved. that or i'm in the car with brent and he's switching the channel to AM.
anyway, this radio thing only gets AM but i don't mind listening to KIXI all day. NPR was getting on my nerves.
i'll see you in my dreams,
alison

KIXI always makes me think of Dr. Stout too since she plays that 95% of the time in her office.
Thanks for the concurring comment re: long-distance relationships. I bet you and Corey did work out because you basically started out long-distance; it wasn't a year-long "we-physically-see-each-other-everyday" and then no physical contact whatsoever for several months.
And word up on the people who never stay at college on the weekends because they're always at home with The Boyfriend or Girlfriend. The BEST time of college—particularly at one where everyone lives on or near campus—is the weekend.
If you go away to visit the BF, you miss out on everything and then you have to hear about "that crazy Saturday night when so-and-so blah blah and blah-blah-blah goobledy gock..." for the next five days.
