ohmigod! the second day of my vacation is almost over and i don't have anything to show for it!
yesterday we got up early and got coffee at the lighthouse cafe. there was a lot of people there for it being 9:30 and a monday. don't people have jobs around here?
then i went to ho-annes and bought some ribbon and shell buttons. then made a package and sent it in the mail. after that we went to beast buy to look at buying a hard drive. fuck that shit, they were all out. we also stopped at target so i could see how cute all the clothes were. i tried these cute clothes on and they were all ill-fitting. oh well, what are you going to do?
okay, so since we could find a hard drive at beast buy we drove to circuit city. they did have hard drives but we ended up not getting one.
we came home and stopped to get pho. my usual routine is to do a swirl of rooster sauce and a star of plum sauce. then i squeeze the lime and THEN i put the jalapeno pepper in there for like a minute and then take it out so it doesn't too hot. i don't know what happened yesterday but some how everything was hot to the max. my nose was running and i kept wiping it with a napkin and then at one point i wiped it with the hand that i removed my jalapeno with and then my nose skin was on fire! i also touched my eye after we got home and it was firey too. what a mess.
seems like we did some other stuff yesterday but i'm not remembering it. oh yes, i applied for apple credit online and now i'm thinking it was a big mistake. they are now going to send me a credit card so that i can buy a computer but i don't think that buying a computer right now would be the best idea. the best idea would actually be to buy a new hard drive. but i want a new computer! the lap top we have now is 1.) getting old and 2.) not portable. the battery pack crapped out long ago so it needs to stay on the desk plugged it. right now it is stacked on top of a trivial pursuit game, history of art book, and history of modern art book. so it is sitting about 9 inches above the desk because otherwise i have to lean really close to it to even read it. it has a really high resolution so everything is tiny. i remember when i first used it that i could barely see anything. now i'm used to it. if i get an ibook the resolution will be half as much and i'm pretty sure non of that matters to me. i'm just saying. anyway, i guess the point i'm trying to make is that i want a computer that i can sit on the couch with. and i want that computer to be cute. cute!!
kitty is all scrunched in the corner of the couch looking sad. i just gave her a treat to make her feel better. i think it's working because now she is bathing herself. i know that is what i do when i'm sad and someone gives me a treat, i take a bath and then i feel better.
