i bought new jeans
does it bother any one else that TWoP isn't recapping ER or everwood? i am really bothered by it.
anyhoo, last night i stopped by the gap. they are having a big fat sale on jeans. i bought a pair. then i went home and hemmed them.
here are some tips for hemming jeans to avoid that ugly "i just hemmed my jeans. how dorky do i look?" look:
1. go to the fabric store and buy some "jeans hemming thread". it is not like regular thread. it is really thick and it comes in it's own package and in one color: GOLD.
2. if you don't have jeans thread on hand, use upholstry thread. it is just as thick and comes in a lot of colors. last night i used a cream color because it was all i had. my jeans do not look dorky.
bottom line: is use thick thread. color doesn't matter.
