hello. first i would like to just get this out in the open. i have been holding it too long: the lunchtime hosts/hostessessss at spagetti factory are both homely and annoying as hell. there. i said it.
today i am wearing green socks, shoes and shirt and purple underwares and sweater. the sweater has handpainted buttons of red flowers and green leaves so it ties into the green i'm wearing. also included in my outfit are a pair of jeans. just FYI. i'm the cutest thing i ever did see.
this morning i sewed a cosmetic bag for someone that i know. i guess you could say it was a "custom order" which sounds dumb but is true. she asked for specific size, shape and fabric. i usually hate doing things like that because it feels like doing homework or something and you all know how much i hate homework. if you don't, it means that i will put it off until forever. but i did it and i liked it and it turned out well considering everything that went wrong: i only had enough fabric for this bag and nothing more. i sewed the design on it and then realized that i should have made it bigger. so i tried to seam-ripper it out but it wasn't working. i decided to go to joanns and buy more fabric. well, according to some lady at joanns they have been out of brown cordoroy since the summer. what? i'm sure i have bought some or seen some recently. whatever. so i bought some thread and prints and called it good. then i went home and seam rippered some more and went to bed. i didn't know what i was going to do. in the morning i continued my seam rippering and FINALLY all of it was out. the cord took a beating but there wasn't really anything i could do about it. i sewed a new and better design (with the new thread. better colors) and then finished it up and was done with it. yay!
so did anyone else feel deceived by last nights ANTM? maybe it was because i haven't seen the last two episodes in their entirety or something but those commercials made it seem like a new eipsode. RIP OFF. anyway. whatevs. right?
will it bother anyone if i go home and take a nap? the cat was laying on a pile of blankies when i left this morning. she has been blankie snoozin' for the past two weeks or so. it seems that it might be her new favorite past time. anyway, it looks fun when she does it, so i might give it a whirl.
