jellies, spokane, antm, smarties, tetris
will someone explain to me why jellies are back?
the shoe page on urbanoutfitters.com says "we heart jellies"
whaaa? last week i was at the gap and they had some jellies displayed on a table with t-shirts. some girl was browsing through shirts and was all "ohhh jellies. i kinda want to get a pair just to make fun of myself" what? you know what, fuck you. irony as a fashion statement is the worst thing ever invented. (um brent, i'm looking in your direction....................) i saw some girl with her boyfriend standing on the corner somewhere in greenwood yesterday. she had cowboy boots and highwaisted jeans on. also: a tight shirt and FEATHERED HAIR. okay, maybe feathered hair isn't as bad as the moderen mullets going around these days (side bar: mordern mullets are soooooooo two years ago!) but still.
i had jellies once. in 6th or 7th grade. i'm thinking it was 7th because i can remember the other awful pair of payless sandles i had in 6th grade. so: jellies, me, 7th grade. hm. i think wore them twice. they were clear and kinda blended in with the color of my white legs and feet. jellies are the worst. the only person who should ever wear jellies is The Dude.
i'm going to spokane this weekend with momella. we will be gardening and probably taking my g-ma to the hair salon at jc penny's. dear god. don't be surprised if i end up having to reorganize the canned food cupboard becasue thats what i did 2 years ago when i was there and i'm sure it's all jumbled up by now.
wish me luck. i'll be taking a hat to wear outside so i don't get cancer.
yay, to danielle!
speaking of top model, the other day at the mag store i think i saw nik on the cover of metro.pop.
though, i'm not positive because i couldn't find any other pictures of her in the magazine and the cover of that issue isn't on the website. so you'll just have to go find the magazine yourself and have a look.
now it's time to eat smarties and play tetris.
