junester
fuck, it's june!
i have a lot of things to tell you, blog, but i'm not sure what to start with.
okay, first: go watch this video on youtube. you're more listening to the song than the video but whatever. i can't get it out of my head. the only words i can use to describe how i feel about the knife is "totally fucking awesome" and that's a little bit lame. i'm not one with words, just go watch it and then find some other vid's to watch: like this.
now that's out, heres a story of friday night. i rode the bus downtown to meet corey after he had afterwork drinks with peeps. i decided to wear my totally awesome shoes that are totally too small. for some reason i didn't think i'd be walking around that much. well turns out i was wrong. WRONG! i walked all around and now i'm expecting my toe nail to fall off. well, maybe not. after i walked around forever and met corey we decided to eat at il fornaio in pacific place. i had never eaten there before but corey had. it wasn't very busy for a friday but they sat us right next to the bus station. corey ordered some wine and as the waiter was setting my glass down he dropped corey's glass which broke and spilled red wine and glass shards everywhere. we got to move tables. we then ordered our food and when it came both pastas were undercooked. $80 for the worst dinner ever! in hindsight, this shouldn't be suprising at all considering one lunch we had at the il fornaio "deli" place out in the mall. corey's sammich was still frozen inside and i had to go get another one and tell them to toast that mother f-er.
anyway, bad dinner experience. oh well.
we then went upstairs to see an inconvenient truth
there's not much to say about it so just go and see it.
then we left and walked to the bus. this dude passed us and said "excuse me, do you have change for two canadian dollars?"
so i stopped because it didn't seem like the typical bum begging for money question. i said " what? you want change for canadian money?"
and he said "yeah, i just need a dollar for the car park." then i go " are you lying to me? you want a dollar and you'll give me canadian money? what am i gonna do with that?" he said "no, i'm not lying" so i said " here's four quarters just take it." and left. we get to the bus stop and wait for-ever. after about 15 minutes i see the dude again looking at his hand full of money. he stands behind us. i know he's there but corey doesn't. he says "do you guys have change for a dollar?" and i turn around and yell "i already gave you a dollar!" and he says "yeah, but do you have change for a dollar?" so i say "NO! i gave you a dollar 3 blocks ago!" again he says "i know,( but i'm pretty sure he didn't recognize me) so you don't have change?" then i scowled at him and he walked away. then he ended up getting on our bus and i really wanted to yell at him again. god. i don't know what i was thinking. i don't give money to people ever. guh.
yesterday was the laziest day in the history of lazy days. i slept for too long and then felt tired for the whole day. the only thing of note that i did was consume too many fruits. fresh fruits, naked juices. blueberries (in a muffin) and so on. we walked around capital hill last night and that was a nice change of scenery.
i need to go shopping today for
-toothpaste
-cat food
-people food

Yeah, I can't believe it is june-I feel old and lazy. Sounds like a shitty dinner, they should have comped your food!
I guess I am a heartless bitch, but I HATE panhandlers most of the time. I never did before I moved to Portland and got a job right downtown. These panhandlers are brutal-I had a man grab me at a bus stop and tell me he was going to go into a diabetic coma if I didn't give him money for food-then I actually tried to give him a scone and he didn't want it!Ugh! I am so brutal and I find myself getting angry at them sometimes. This is very bad, I shouldn't allow strangers to make me angry. Oh man, if you want to hear some bad bum stories-let me know. I will stop now.
