last day of may : still with child
i got up really early this morning (5:45) because i had a bad dream and couldn't go back to bed. then i went back to bed for a while and had a different dream but i don't remember if it was bad or good or whatever.
today i think we're going to ride the bus to mud bay and get a FURminator for the cat. apparently they sell them at FM, but i have only seen them at the sno-ho FM when i was visiting brent. i haven't seen them at our FM yet.
anyway. the cat has been barfing hairballs so she probably needs to be brushed and this furminator thing looks sweet. carolyn has one and she said we could borrow it, but i forgot to get it the last time we saw her.
we're probably going to stop by the greenwood liberry while we're in the neighborhood. it's sort of new-ish and looks really big.
at the other liberry i have LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE SEASON 1 on hold and i'm practically pooping my pants about it.
if you're interested, i made a tumblr blog.
it's right here. i made it too keep track of neat looking things on etsy and other places. not really like my wist list because 1. the tumblr blog looks prettier and more organized and 2. i'm only posting certain things on there. like pretty things and not necessarily "practical" type things that might go on the wist list.
plus, i think tumblr is easier to use. but WHATEVER.

That furminator thing looks crazy. I just use either a slicker brush, or one of those rubber brushes. And every now and then when our cats get coughy, we feed them some kitty laxative. I've scientifically analyzed it by smelling it and accidentally getting it on my fingies, and it appears to basically be liver flavored vaseline. But they love it, and they hardly ever barf.
Also, I've had LHotP season 1 on hold at sno-isle for about two months now. So don't poop your pants just yet. :/
Alsoalso, I'm thinking of using tumblr or something similar to keep track of my wish list, because 1) I'm having trouble getting some websites to work with wists (crate & barrel) and 2) I use Iminta now, and they can follow a tumblr feed but not yet a wists feed. And when I asked the guy if he could add wists, he was basically like, "I'll add it to the list, but I can't add EVERY site." So...yeah. But I really like the look of wists, and I'll be sad to leave.

but i have LHoTP READY to be picked up at the library. i don't have to wait for it!!! people in m-ville are way more "prairie-like" and want to watch shows like that so that is why you have to wait for forever. people in the city want to watch "city shows" and i don't know what those are, but i bet they are super-reserved.
anyway, i'm worried that the first season of LH might be really lame, since the first season of some shows are sometimes dumb.
we'll see.

Yeah, I expect it to be pretty lame. I already know I like the books better than the sheeew. But still. It'll be a nice fix. And in the books, the earlier years were definitely my fav, so I'm hoping the first season will contain some of the stuff I liked. But I don't know.
Also, I think a "city show" might be Sex & the City. Which I think is garbage. And I grew up in the city. And I'm actually starting to look forward to moving back in that direction. And I still think that show was lame.
