random things about other things
here's what's happened recently, in no particular order:
for a long, long time in september we didn't have internet. it was seriously LAME and a big thanks goes out to qwest for needing to be reminded repeatedly to send us a modem. during that time we watched the 7th season of little house and a lot of baby/toodler dvds. boo boo learned where/how to put the dvd's in which is cute and also annoying since it means that he climbs on the computer chair like a little danger baby.
i got a pair of keens. i know you probably just fell over in your chair because what the hell???? keens!?!?
they aren't ugly though. they are okay and i'm getting used the the 'keen-ness' of them. i got them in black but they also have them in rust which i kinda like but nord's only had black.
and now that it finally feels like fall out i've been thinking about socks a lot. i like these smartwool socks but i'll probably just get some from FM instead.
okay, i have like 3 or 4 little house related books on reserve at the library. biographies of laura and then books by her daughter that she wrote to continue the series. i'm VERY excited to read them. i also have some other books about women pioneers on hold, which i'm sure will be good too!
