last night
last night i went to kristina's holiday party. when i got home corey was sleeping and i didn't want to wake up him so i got ready for bed in the bathroom. then i went to the bedroom and was getting my jammie pants out and corey sleep-cornwallised me!! he cornwallised me! in his sleep!!!!

beauty and the beast
first of all, jerry orbach died. how sad. did you know that he sang the song "be our guest" in the beauty and the beast movie? well it's true because i heard it on NPR
secondly, i was searching for " bird sketch" on google images and this came up. i think my mom used to watch this show during the day time if she didn't go to work for some reason. or maybe she recorded it. or maybe it was on saturday. whatever, it doesn't matter. FREAKKY!

cleaned!
you guys! i went home yesterday and cleaned the bathroom drawers out! there was 2 and a half bags of bathroom garbage that got thrown out! woo!
i also cleaned the kitched accessories cupboards and now i have a trunk full of give away crap! GIVE AWAY!
then eva came over and we ate black bean soup. then we watch a seinfeld epidsode called "the robbery" and it was not very funny. i think i laughed once.
ONCE.

i want to go home and clean the house
i slept till 9:15 this morning. when i finally got up i could hear the guy above us doing it. his bed was squeaking. it was also making noises last night.
anyway. i'm working and reading about de-cluttering and all that stuff.
i want to go home today and clean the medicine cabinet and the drawers. THEN i want to do the kitchen cupboards!! i know there is stuff in there i can get rid of.
after that i will do the kitchen floor.

after x-mas
last night we went to see the life aquatic. it wasn't amazing, but it did make me want to go out and get stuff. like a sand dollar tied with floss for a necklace. anyway. x-mas was good and there is more of it coming tomorrow when we have to go back to m-ville to trade gifts with breet and keet. and i think we still have some stuff that is coming in the mail from corey's mom. WHOA!!
we went to fred meyer today for groceries and it wasn't busy for the day after x-mas OR for a sunday. it was weird. we got lots of good food and i am thankful for that. oh wait.. being thankful was the last holiday wasn't it? well whatever.
stuff is fun and stuff is clutter so i need to get rid of some of it. and that is always fun.

done shopping
i went to the university bookstore today afterwork. it was really busy and crowded and i think i accidently cut in line at the cash register. bah. anyway. corey keeps looking at his present pile and saying "that box doesn't look like and ipod. an ipod box is probably more cubed than rectangular. yeah, well guess what? YOU'RE RIGHT. IT'S NOT AN IPOD.
tomorrow i need to go to FM and buy more crap. this time it is food crap though. hopefully i can get it done early and we can go to m-ville and lay about. i want to rent shaun of the dead because i think it's out on video now. or dvd rather. who knows.

really tired and busy
yesterday corey and i had a record setting shopping spree. i bussed it to downtown and we hit barnes and noble and nordstrom. pacific place was full of annoying fourth graders singing feliz navidad and a billion of their parents were filling the place up. we were looking for somethinig specific at nordstrom's which they didn't have downtown, so they put it on hold at the alderwood store, which i was at the DAY BEFORE and they didn't have what i was looking for. what? yeah i know. so then we went home and stoped by market time for dinner sammies. corey got ham brie and apricot on sweet potato and pecan bread. i got a bite and it was the best sammich EVER!
then we went to FM to get wrapping materials. OH, and before FM we went to PCCCCCC to get some stuff for corey's uncle. okay, so after FM and PCCCCCC we went to alderwood. AHHH!! it was 9 by then and we left at 10. it was exhausting. today i wrapped and mailed stuff.
i just tried to set up our fake tree and the mini-mew was using it as her own personal jungle gym. i got it half way set up and she wouldn't stop crawling around so i took it down. so, no tree this year.
i'm tired and looking forward to going to sleep tonight. .

yesterday we went glasses shopping with brent.
brent needed glasses yesterday. i needed glasses never. i had my camera. pictures were taken. glasses were had.
also, we ate at mama's mexifood place in bell town and now my clothes smell.
oh yeah, one more thing: ugg boots are FUGGLY.that is all.
this is eva. she's needs to get a pair of reading glasses SOON. if she doesn't she might start going blind like amanda on ANTM. be carefull
this is brent and this is one of the pairs of glasses he bought. i love them.
i tried them on too and i still liked them. i wish i was needing some glasses!
whoa you guys. i didn't think corey could get cuter than he already is. i guess all it takes is new GLASSES!
eva said i looked like a bug with these glasses on. i want them too.
this is the other pair of glasses brent got. they are brown on the top and rimless on the bottom!! WHOA!

the cat's butt smells like butt
i don't get it. mew uses her claws like fingers to grab things from me, but she refuses to wipe her own butt. what gives?
i fell asleep watching oprah's favorite things, then was violently awakened by the buzzer noise of the door. the cat bolted to the bedroom and i stood up thinking "what the fuck? where am i? was that noise what i thought it was?" and it felt like forever to make it to the phone thing to buzz the person in. it was the ups guy. delivering some tooferbrushes that i bought last week. they are all way cool and i want to keep them all. i think i'll keep two and then give the others to people. i don't know who though.

coffee gives me the sloucies
what the crap? this morning i woke up feeling really awful. i was in the middle of having a dream that i was at alfy's pizza in marysville and all my friends were there. we were taking pictures of each other modeling. i remember brent and ryan c. being there. wtf? it was weird. then back in real life, corey took a picture of the mew baby sleeping on my head. i would post the picture but i look really PISSED. and it's kind of scary. i asked corey if i always look angry when i sleep and i don't remember exactly what he said but it was pretty much a "yes". suck. anyway. so i was at work and i was all just sitting and feeling sleepy, so i got up and was going to make myself this new tea that i got, made of fir tree tips (it's like drinking christmas, for reals) and then i thought "no. i'll get some coffee. with chocolate mixed in. that will wake me up." yeah. well now i feel not waked up and sloucie inside. WHY? why do i forget that every time i drink coffee here, i get sloucie 5 minutes afterwards. my bowels are quivering.
i want to go home and set up our fake x-mas tree. mew baby needs something new to jump on.

did anyone see america's next top model? i did. meh. i'm mean i'm glad that eva won and not yaya. i didn't really like amanda but i think i liked the way she looked better than eva. oh well.
i sold my table to some dude in a lexus today. he didn't want the chairs so i'll probably drop those off at the goodwill. i dropped off 5 bags and a box yesterday but i brought one bag home. ha!
HA!
i'm tired. i had a really bad sleep last night. i went to bed at 10 and woke up at 8 and i was still really tired.
tonight is probably going to be the same thing.

i thought i'd have a harder time parting with it because i've had it since like 9th grade or something. but i've also sort of grown out of it. and having this new table makes me want to have a dinner party. and my old table didn't. fun times!!!

this weekend
we saw the arcade fire this weekend. with tyson. then after that we saw eva and greg was there. and then we played the foosball at the bar. then i did a mini put golf thingy. i didn't win.
yesterday i bought a new wood table. mine is for sale on craigslist.
overall weekend: B+
tonight is pho with the eva.
and hopefully a sold table.

i got a package of cd's from carl yesterday. i was just looking at stuff again and i found this picture and almost shit my pants because this is where i used to work when i lived in iowa city. "above mcdonald optical, a few doors down from the airliner" which are the directions we would give to someone if they were looking for us. because half of the city didn't know that it existed.

what the hell. it's december!
according to the list of months on the side of this blog, it is NINE months old! 9!!
that is exactly how long i had braces on my top toofs in 7th grade. which is actually a short amount of time to have braces. and apparently also the time it takes a baby to cook in a tummy. when i told people i only had to have braces for nine months they said "nine months!! that is how long a baby takes in the tummy so now you'll know what it's like to have a baby!!"
so yeah. i guess i know what it's like to have a baby again. nine months ago it started to cook and now i have given birth.
does it bother anyone else that i refering to the gestation period as "cooking" because it's sort of gross.
my tummy is not an oven.
or is it?!
