saturday morn

yesterday when i got home from work i started cleaning out the closet. it wasn't that bad, there was just a few empty boxes that needed to be taken out and some stuff needed to be rearranged. SOOO... i put the kitties toilet box in there. and a blanket one a shelf so she can sleep. i don't think she likes the blanket part thogh. because it smells and she preferes to sleep on top of the cupboards on a pair of pants that we put up there for her. whatever. then i made some turky burgers and we watched simpsons. i was really really tired so i went to bed at 7:40. i woke up about an hour ago and i think i slept too long because i am STILL TIRED. and if i didn't have a million billion things to do then i would go back to sleep.

fleebity.

i tried to put this up yesterday and then all hell broke loose.

well not really. i just "accidentally" deleted it and then added it and then deleted it twice. HA! anyhow, what i meant to say was this : mew kitten is really big and she doesn't fit into the wireless router box. CUTE! also, she likes to sit on my lap when i take my afternoon poop. YEA!

this is my worst nightmare.

whoa. did you hear about this train wreck?
when i was younger i would imagine the train behind our house flopping over and landing on our house. of course that probably wouldn't happen because it only goes about 5 miles an hour. but still. it scares the crap out of me.

i better post something before you get worried

it's wednesday and it's really foggy. i got up at 7:45 today. now my hair has time to dry. i hate wet hair.

anyhoo, i went to the bon on monday and bought a really cute sweater. i wore it yesterday. i also bought a medially cute sweater which i will probably wear today.

did anyone watch gilmore girls last night? it was kind of stupid. it's really starting to bug me and i'd rather watch american idol but i don't think corey likes that show. so whatever. my face feels dry so i'm going to go moisturize it.

good bye.

fleebity

do you ever drive around with the gas light on for like three or four days because you are just that broke? i do. i should really get gas this afternoon.
i think we are going to go food shopping this weekend. and by weekend i actually mean today.
my sleeping schedule is getting messed up i think. yesterday morning corey got up at 5 or 6 and did his usual corey thing and i was awake for a while then went back to sleep and couldn't wake up till 9. then i got home and took at nap from 5 to 6:45. then i went to bed at 12:45 or something. then i woke up too early this morning and fell asleep and didn't get up till 9. okay anyway. the point is that i am tired.

i'm going to make a shopping list now.

something really messed up happened last thursday

remember how i told you that i went to the library last thursday? and that guy said someone shat all over the bathroom? i'm sure you didn't forget.
well, i went there and i checked out THREE books. now do you remember?
today i decided to check online to see if i had anything ready to pick up. i logged into my account and it said "11 things checked out"
eleven thingy-doos checked out? what the butt?
i haven't been to the library for a while and the last time i only checked out three. this is strange. so i clicked to see what items i had out.
here is a list:
(i put a star next to the ones i DID NOT CHECK OUT)

* Back to basics the essential collection, 1971-1992 /
by Newton-John, Olivia.
CD

De Stijl
by White Stripes (Musical group)
CD

*Everything for love
by Mangione, Chuck.
CD

*Heart in motion
by Grant, Amy.
CD

*Home
by Simply Red (Musical group)
CD

*Mi tierra
by Estefan, Gloria.
CD

Q: Are we not men? A: We are Devo!
by Devo (Musical group)
CD

*Simply Streisand
by Streisand, Barbra.
CD

*The song lives on
by Sample, Joe.
CD

*Under these rocks and stones
by Kreviazuk, Chantal.
CD

Vegetables every day : the definitive guide to buying and cooking
today's produce, with more than 350 recipes /
by Bishop, Jack.
Book

amy grant? no. simply red? NO. barbara streisand maybe. olivia newton john?
so i got home and called the library. that lady said that usually one or two books is okay and they can take it off, but eight is a little strange. she transferred me to the wallingford branch. i talked to a guy who is probably the same guy who checks my books out. i told him what happened. he said he could take them off and try and track them, but if they are not back in a month the i will have to deal with it then. i hope this doesn't turn out to be something horrible. there is no way i am taking accountability for a simply red cd. SIMPLY RED!! whatever though. judging by the list, the person who checked them out is a big dork and they are probably really good about returning their library materials on time. at least i hope so.

i want to do me some cleanin'

i just bleached out the sink. i want to scrub the kitchen floor but corey went to bed and he told me not to be too loud while doing the dishes. i have no idea if cleaning the floor would be that loud but i will just wait until tomorrow.

i get paid on thursday and i am ass broke. at my old job i got paid every monday. and if i wanted to i could come in on saturday morning and get it. EVERY WEEK!
getting paid every two weeks is for suckers. corey gets paid on the 4th and the 19th of every month which works out to be even suckier than every two weeks. but i digress.

here is a list of stuff that i want to buy at target.
-bleach
-bleach for colors
-spray cleaner stuff
-paper towels
-food
-orange juice
-new shampoo that doesn't make my scalp feel dirtier after i wash it. (fuck you infusium!)
-hippie body soap (fuck you ivory!)

afternoon headache

i'm eating
tootsie roll midgies

okay. so i am at work because everyone else wanted to leave for the afternoon. i forgot to go to the bathroom before they left so i will have to hold it till five. i have run out of internet to look at. i can't email my brother because he isn't at work anymore.

oh yeah. i forgot to tell everyone something really funny that happened on saturday night. we were walking home and we were about to cross the street by the new tower records. i got my camera out to take a picture of the nirvana mural thingy ( because you know, it's seattle and seattle listens to nirvana still. all the time. and everyone still wears flannel. well, at least at minnies they do) anyway, so there was this mexi guy alone in a truck and he was stopped at the intersection and he was going the wrong way on a one way street. he saw us and started to speed off and started screaming "eyieyeiyeeyieiyeeyieyeieieie!!!!!" and i think he was playing some kind of mariachi music. then i took a picture of him. he drove around the block and then passed us screaming again.
it makes me chuckle to myself every time i think of it. and i can't wait to tell lui the story because she can probably relate in some way.
and wow. i hope i don't get a bunch of hate mail for this now.

later that day

i still feel like a pile of crap.
i tried to take a nap earlier while corey was on the phone with his mom but he came in and jumped on the bed and threw the covers around. what a jerk.
he's making us go on a walk. i am hungry. it looks cold outside.
i made eggs with smoked salmon this morning. i bought the smoked salmon from the grocery outlet yesterday and it was a big mistake. BIG. i don't even think the cat wants to eat it.

i just have to tell you a few things. then i'm going back to bed

whoa guys. last night we went out with brad. let me tell you a few things:

1. last night was one of those nights where i probably drank too much. and it's going down in my record book as that. i don't have that many. but probably more than i think i do.

2.the last bar that we went to and stayed at the longest, the zigzag, has the BEST smelling bathroom EVER. it smells like a big fluffy pile of clean towels at a hotel or something. it's not too strong. nobody was ever in the bathroom so i felt okay just leaning up against the wall and smelling for like 5 minutes.

3. the host dude at minnies was wearing goggles. GOGGLES PEOPLE! seattle needs to get some more 24 hour places because minnies is a dump at 2 am. they were also playing tool or something and i just don't get it.

4. yes, minnies is a dump, and they overcharge you , but they have the BEST cinnamon rolls i have ever had.

5. after walking 10 blocks home including 4 reeeeally steep hills i barfed up my cinnamon roll behind the car. i think i got barf in my hair.

now i'm hungry.

question

i have returned from the library. while i was waiting for the lady to get my books a homeless man walked in and says "uh. i have a question." and then some other lady gets up and says "yes?" and he says "someone defecated in the mens bathroom."

um. that doesn't sound like a question to me.

then he said "i'm in dire straits here."
then he turned around and said to anyone listening "so they say this library is state of the art..."
what a jerk. i bet that he was the one who shat all over the bathroom.

going to the liberry

i have been neglecting my liberry stuffs for a while and i need to stop. right now i have three things on hold:
Q: Are we not men? A: We are Devo!
De Stijl
Vegetables every day : the definitive guide to buying and cooking today's produce, with more than 350 recipes /
um. i don't know what else. except that i hope i don't forget to get my stuff.

gross

do you want to know something gross? i will tell you.
yesterday i ran out of facial tissue for my runny nose. so i went to the storage room to get more tissue. it smells like mildew in there. hardcore. so i got my tissue and left. then i opened my tissue and blew my nose and it smelled like mildew. that is GROSS.

do you want to know something cute?
mi-mao got into the shower with me this morning. she got water sprinkles all over and then she licked her paws and cleaned herself. cute!! i've never known a cuter kitten. this morning she came to lay on my neck and kneed it. she acts like she's giving me some kind of 5-star massage or something. so cute.
do you ever wonder what kitten dreams are like? i bet they dream about having human hands or something. it would only make sense. because i dream about having kitten paws.

my brain hurts

i am still sick and it sucks. my eyes hurt to move and i have a headache. i keep wanting to ask if i can go home but i think i can make it another hour and a half.

last night we cleaned the bedroom and moved some furniture around. i packed up 4 medium to large size bags to go to the goodwill. WHOA! there is still a lot we could get rid of though. our closet and drawers are full of clothes and the dirty clothes thing is full too. that means that all the new dirty clothes that we will make will just go on the floor because they won't fit. so i will go through it tonight if i feel up to it.

corey said something to me last night that made me think a little. he said "you buy clothes like you're thinking of donating it to the goodwill. like 'oh this is cute and it won't fit. i bet the goodwill would want it. i'll buy it!' "
he is so right. however, i think he has a hard to deciding to give something away. so whatever.

corey is being mean to "mimao" again. he said "kitty! wanna get in my hood?!" then he stuffed her in his hood and i tried to take a picutre. but the memory card was out of the camera. so then i put it in and made him reinact.

FRIDAY

i'm tired. after work i need to go to FM and buy food. last night we had "beans surprise!" and it was good because we put sour cream on top.
here is a list of things i might buy
-apples?
-onions (red or sweet)
-broccoli
-carrots
-salad in a bag
-bread
-meat for a sammy
-cheese for a sammy or other stuff
-yogurt in a tub
-milk
-eggs
-beans

okay i'm tired of making a list. i want to sleep. i want this weekend to be a 'watch tv in bed all weekend' kind of weekend. but first we'd have to move the tv and i wouldn't want to eat in my bed because that is disgusting.

is it time to go home yet?

have you ever gotten so bored with the internet that you start leaving nasty comments on other peoples websites? that happened to me yesterday. i won't say where i posted them because i plan on going back and doing it later. it makes me feel good inside when i do it. HA! i'm a jerk!

speaking of jerks, corey is supposed to get a package delivered today from amazon. apparently he already received it on dec. 23. what? i don't remember a package. they didn't leave a note either.. did someone else buzz them in and sign for it? did they just leave it on the step and some fart face picked it up? i have no idea. but they are sending it again and that is all that matters. i hate waiting for the ups to drop stuff off. the other day i waited until about 5:45 for them to bring my left over christmas stuff. i was excited to get it though.

bleeblooblaaah.
work be done. now.

captital hill is a jerk

me and eves were just walking around on capital hill. each day i'm there i hate it more and more.
it's really a dump (sorry eva!) anyway, today we were waiting to cross the street and the light turned YELLOW and it would have been safe to cross the street if no one was running a yellow light but some bitch face WAS running a yellow light which was probably a red light by then. she started honking at us and just layed on it for like 20 seconds. BITCH! i want you all to know that i flipped her off. and proudly. i really wish i would have yelled something at her but i will remember next time. everyone drives like a maniac around there. they are all jerks. except for eva.

we are suppposed to have pizza for dinner which i could be preparing right now but corey isn't home yet. so i made some seasoned jo-jo's to tide me over and now i want to have boca burgers instead of pizza because i dipped my jo-jo in ketchup and now i'm hungry for more ketchup!!!
that was a pretty long sentence but i bet it could have been longer.

COREY GET HOME!

Re: eva's comment

eva, i find it upsetting that your sweater ripped after you took it home. that is why i hate the bon. however, if they'll take back corey's used christmas electric razor, they better fucking take back that sweater. but if i were you, i wouldn't want to go back for the third day in a row. but i'm me and not you so i'll go back with you again if you want me to, but only if we can take better pictures in that picture booth.

everyone else, yesterday we had pho on crapital hill. ha. CRAP! it was busy and they did not refill our toilet tasting water once. on the way home corey kept ripping ass and said "oh i think i just stepped on a frog!" but then i said "uh, i think you must be dragging that frog around on a string or something because you've stepped on it like 10 times."

when i got home he blamed his gas on eating his pho to fast. i don't know.

throat hurty

i'm getting sick. i haven't been sick in like two years.
last night i went to bed and i had a hard time getting to sleep. i woke up every 10 minutes or so when i would hear corey sigh or gasp for air. then later he put the cat in the hall. then she was crying at the door. so i let her in but she wanted to play. so i put her back out. then she wanted in for reals! by then she was ready for bed and we slept cheek to cheek. CUTE!
but still sick... i bought chicken and stars soup for lunch. i want to eat it now.

snarky

last night eva and i went to the northgate bon-macy's. i am continually amazed at how shitty is it. eva didn't get anything and i resisted the urge to by the pair of pants i bought four days ago only in a longer length. i don't know about you but i can only wear one pair of pants at a time so there really was no need. anyway. while we were walking around i noticed that my shirt smelled like the soup i was making earlier at home. it was gross. i was smelling my shirt the whole time we were there and now i'm a little worried that 1. the food i make stinks like B.O. or 2. i have really bad B.O. and it flavors the food i make.

then we went to ross and they also had shit and then we went next door to the grocery outlet. i like the grocery outlet not because they have good "deals"
(they don't, most of the food is the same price or 10 cents cheaper and almost expired) but because they are probably the only place in seattle that sells sunbelt granola with dates and raisins and something else. it's the cereal i ate when i lived in iowa city and it is really good. and cheap. $1.89.
they also used to sell miltons bread which is expensive normally but it was only $1.79 there. okay anyway. if you really want to know, i also bought vegetable juice in single serving sizes (for corey), snack packs, bananas, smart start, and frozen seasoned jo-jo's.

i got home and watched a rerun of 7th heaven. i hadn't seen it before but it was terrible as usual. then everwood. boring. THEN later, it was time for seinfeld and the dog episode was on. it was high-larious. corey missed it and i was sad because he would have liked it.
