a weekend in pictures.

garsh durnit. if flickr would stoping being dumb i could upload pictures and this post would be writen sooner and i could start on my chores.

you know what the most tastiest snack in the world is? toast with peanut butter and honey. warsh it down with 100% cranberry juice cut with sparkling water. DEEEEEEEEEEEE-LISH.

my weekend.

i got this necklace in the mail on saturday. from appleballoon.etsy.com. i've been looking for just the right necklace for a while. i really like this one. plus: cheap.

sunday we drove up to m-ville so i could attend emily's b-day party.

while at the b-day party i browsed through some old pictures of lisa's:

embarassingly dorky picture from jr. high years...... oh jeeze. so i'm only posting this because nobody out of this group except for kaeli reads this blog. so i'm only worried about kaeli being embarassed. either way, LOOK AT MY SUNGLASSES. christ. if you can't tell which one is me, i'm the taller of the two wearing sunglasses. seriously though, i bought those at the assistance league of everett a million years ago and they were old and french. so whatevs.

then we ate dinner at scooters and watched the white diamond. it wasn't very good. the movie that is. the dinner was tasty.

today after work i mailed a package and stopped at G-will. it was busy but i got some good stuff:

not sure what i'll make with these. maybe headbands maybe linings to totes or pouchs.

but seriously, go again. she makes awesome cards and. ANDDDDDDDDD! she sent some extras along with the other stuff. i'm such a jerk because i didn't send any extra stuff in the package i sent her and i'll probably go cut myself about it later.

i just talked to caroloin on the phone and she wants me to meet her dooon toon. and i guess it's sort of my duty, as a friend, to go meet her since i haven't seen her since LAST YEAR. well, you know, new years and all.
i better go change my shirt. it smells like B to the O up in here.

it's drizzly out.

i made the most awesomist, coolest tote yesterday.

maybe you can't tell because the picutres are ass.
i couldn't take pictures outside because it was raining. so i waited until today. (and stayed home sick) and it's still rainy and barfy out. i couldn't wait any longer so i listed it and hopefully the pictures aren't too awful.

in other news, i stayed home sick today. i drove corey to work and then went back to bed because i was still tired. i woke up at 12 and felt like shit because i slept too long. and i'm still tired. go figure. GO!! figure that one out! i don't feel rested at all!

i just got back from dropping off packages. before i dropped the packages i had to go to bartells to buy packing tape.

can i just bitch for a minute?
the only people who ever call our home line are telemarketers for corey asking if he wants to consolidate a student loan. of course i am the only one who ever answers so i say say "no he's not here" but they always call back. then, like two seconds ago, someone calls and asks for him and i say he's not here and whats this about? and the guy is all 'i'm from somplace about something having to do with consolidating loans.' and so i say "he's not interested in doing that."
and the wiener says " uhh. are you aware of what that is?....consolidation??" and i say "yes i'm aware and he already consolidated once so he's NOT INTERESTED." then he says "alrighty ma'am."
WHY do we even have a home line? one time brad called on it and i practically crapped my pants because i was expecting a machine to tell me to "please hold on. this isn't a sales call" but instead it was BRAD!!
anyway, brad: stop calling here on the home phone. i'm unplugging it.

okay.back to the topic at hand. what was it again.... oh, i had to go to bartells to buy some f-ing packing tape because i used to the end of two rolls to finish packing packages this morning. i know there is tape around here somewhere that is not empty. anyway, the reason i needed tape to pack the packages is because i've been making my own envolopes for a while now because i ran out of fancy colored 'lopes that i got from the jap store. i really need to get organized and replunish my packing supplies. crapper.

and another thing. driving in fremont is a big dumper now. i drove home today through fremont and it took a half hour. i live less then 2 miles from work. why do i even drive? i don't know. i really don't know.

well farts. i ran out of bitching.

the house is a disaster. we have no food because i never went "real" food shopping when i got paid. instead we ate at other places. i don't even remember where. and we ate toast. lots of toast.

air gass.

fuck i'm tired.
yesterday we went on a sunday walk and i stopped at the overpriced vintage store and picked upsome awesome fuit fabric.

then we went home and i sewed up a storm and corey napped. then at 10:30 corey went to the store and bought morning star corndogs for a very late dinner.

okay, so something has been bothering me.
saturday we rented vol.5 season 2 and vol.1 season 3 of six feet under. way back in the first season(??) nate goes to visit his hippie friend lisa in seattle. in the scene when he's leaving they are going out her laundry room and you can see a huge jug of TIDE laundry detergent. i'm not a dummy. i know that if this lady is supposed to work at a co-op and makes meatless meatloaf there is NO FUCKING WAY that she uses tide. no. way!!
so...... i noticed again in the second episode of season 3 that lisa does laundry and she sniffing it and says "this smells like tide. blabhalbhalhbalhbalhbalhb" so i guess it wasn't just a random product placement the first time. SHE REALLY USES TIDE TO WARSH HER CLOTHES.

anyhoooooooo.
i'm tired and i need to get ready for work.

shop's updated. i have more things to sew after work and the post office to go to and cleaning to do. boofs.

rerin to go

uh. so here is this little mosaic thingy i made corey make because the normal flickr mosaic maker kept chopping the edges off to make it square.

the first picture is probably from 2nd grade, judging by my "casandras dance" sweatshirt. my guess is that it was taken either at lake goodwin or mt. st. helens. but as i type that i remember that the picture we took when we went to mt. st. helens i had short hair and both of us are wearing teal shirts and eating ice cream. so yeah, its at lake goodwin and i don't know why we were there.
the oldest memory that i have of erin is her inviting me to come over on her birthday in frist grade. my mom bought me a story book about a kitty to give her and so we wrapped it and i rode my bike over to her house. i don't remember an actual party going on. i was just going over there to play or something. on the way over some kids hassled me about where i was going and i told them and showed them the book.
i used to go over to erins all the time because she and her sister had this huge barbie/pony collection in their basement. they also always had cheese filled hot dogs. i know that if i went over to her house right now i could open the fridge and find a cheese filled hot dog. then i'd eat it because thats just what i do.

a few other random memories:
-emptying out my closet to make a fort to sleep in and pulling a tape player in to listen to boyzIImen.
-sitting in erin's downstairs basement bedroom at her yellow house eating chicken in a bisquit crackers and reading house floor plan books. (dorks!!!)
-watching tv shows on the phone together.
-buying the same clothes
-going to childrens company togehter and pooling our money (mostly change) to buy gak
-wearing peace signs

i hemmed some jeans today

yeah, that's right. yesterday i bought some of that fancy 'jeans hemming thread' so i could finally hem this pair of jeans i got a while go. they are way too long and i've been wearing them taped up. so each morning i decide to wear them i would go get the packing tape and then fold the jeans up and tape them. so anyway, this jeans thread? it's really thick. i first tried sewing on my reg-ler machine and it would barely move. so then i had to hook up my other, more crappy machine and it worked!! it's not the finest job i've ever done, but a normal person wouldn't be able to tell, because of the jeans thread.

i have to tell you something really exciting.
laughing cow cheese wedges are MY NEW FAVORITE THING!!!!!!!!!!!!
you can get them at fred meyer in all of the flavors. go buy some right now. the pack comes with EIGHT! mini wedges big enough for you to spread on a big piece of bread at lunch. that's what i've been doing. awesome!

happy st. patty day. it's erin's b-day. i don't think she reads this blogadoodle very often but here is a card that i made her last year that she forgot at my house. then i put it in my purse to give to her later and i forgot to give it to her.

BTW: kitty's newest nick name at the moment is "marmadoo". for about two seconds it was marmaduke but then i remembered that was a comic and i wasn't sure if it was a lame comic or not. so i changed it.

beans bag

hey roro, check it out. i put some picture up for you to look at.

yesterday i went to bed when girlfriends was over hoping that i would be able to wake up early and get some stuff done around here. nopers!! i guess i was pretty tired. and kitty was tired too because she kept sleeping on my head.

i'm really glad that it's spring like outside. it's nice.

oh yeah. so one of the nights we were in san diego we were taking a cab somewhere and the radio was on and there was some guy talking about taking a stretching class and wearing briefs and his "beanbags" falling out and how ladies shouldn't be offended if his "beanbags" fall out because the ladies in the stretching class are all fat and so on and so forth. actually, i don't really know what the guy was talking about because i could only hear him say "beanbags" so i kinda just made the story up to go along with it.

back

we're back now. we got home a little before 11 last night and the kitty acted like she hadn't seen us in forevers. what a dork. we would have gotten home a lot earlier if we hadn't checked one bag. we had to check that one bag because we both had two bags already and the dude at the ticket counter said "oh no, they won't let you on the plane with that extra bag". LIE!! they probably would have. oh yeah, and the whole reason we had the extra 5th bag was because we stopped at the goodwill and corey found some "san diego" mugs and had to buy them as prezzies for work peeps. dumps!!!!!!!!

dooot doot. so anyway, i'll tell you more later.
after work i need to buy some food and do the post office thing. like always.

okay, so... last night i was all excited to blog my thoughts on ANTM but somewhere between sleeping and working i forgot a lot. so i'll just go by memory. or something.

most of the girls are either ugly or look like someone from a previous 'cycle'

i was kinda hoping they would keep that racist bitch dani on because she was so stupid but i guess jade will be able to carry the show alone. she makes me want to jab my eyes out. and she's not pretty.

i'm glad that project runway is over because i'm so sick of people rubbing in my face that i don't have cable. hellloo!!?! please stop talking about how fucking great it is because i can't watch it!!!
( unless cat recorded it which she said she'd do. .... ....)

i'm leaving tonight to go to san diego. i'm excited to go away for a weekend even though it will probably cost more than it needs too. i have all of my airplane goodies packed and i'm ready to go. wooo wooo.

ER is boring.

christ. i just got back from some late night supplimental grocery shopping and spent $98 on food that probably won't make one complete dinner. unless corey calls cereal with a side of fake meat sausage a dinner. which he doesn't. (yesterday he asked what we were having for dinner and i said "oatmeal and an egg sandwhich " which he poo-pooed and said "lets order pizzzzzzzzzza" so we did. )

it seems like each time i go grocery shopping it costs more than the last time. it's kinda starting to piss me off. i think we're eating too much food. that has to be it. right?

i just brought up a warm load of laundry for the kitty's napping enjoyment and she's having none of it. instead she's running around like a wild beast. not cool.

hey, go over to my shop and check it out. i put some stuff on "sale". i know, i know. "sale" is something i thought i would never do to get people to buy something. but! i really want to get stuff outta there so i can feel inspired to make some cool new stuff. gahhhh. i have ideas of things i wanna make, like some tote bags and stuff. but it just seems too involved right now. i want to make something fast and easy and post it immediately. but it won't happen. i feel overwhelmed with ideas but nothing really feels right. it's hard to tell the brain to just take a break for a while ya know? it needs a rest but i want to create something.
