corey helped me save this moment forever with some thingy called snagit

go to bread
go! go over to see the bread! loaf pouch, that is.
.

corey brought me a "boxed lunch" from his work for dinner tonight. chopped salad, roll, fruit cup, COOKIE. it was de-lish.
i'm tired and it's barely 9:30. i'm going to go whittle down some homework. (it's weird to say that. but whatever)
oh, and BTW, tomorrow i'm not going to work because brenters and i are going to be thrifting up the i-5 corridor. WHOOOOOOOOOOOPPP!!!
(don't worry, i will be going to school)

i have homework
it's too hottttttttttt outtt! they issued some kind of "heat advisory" (no babies, old people, animules left in cars) on saturday we were on a walk and passed by a car with two dogs in the back and NO WINDOWS OPEN. it made me panic for a few minutes because it seemed like the owners of the car weren't around and who the fuck leaves animals in the car at all with out the windows cracked?! gah! people are stupid. we waited few minutes and they came out. i'm sure they were only away from the car for a few minutes but that seems like too many. i wish i was the kind of person to say something to them.
anyway. today was my first day of MATH CLASS. which, you know, was...yeah. okay, so it wasn't that bad. seattle central is under contstruction and a maze. i hope i can find the room again tomorrow.
time for HOMEWORK.

this morning i bought a round brush and now i can dry my hair more efficiently

christ it was hot today. don't worry though, i wore my sunscreen and stayed out of the sun for the most part.
it's not even 8:30 and kitty and corey are both trying to fall asleep on me. WAKE UP YOU GUYSSSSSSSS! lets go do something.
the other day i downloaded "have a heart" by bonnie raitt. mostly for nostalgic reasons. it makes me think of something but i can't put my finger on it. the more i listen to it weirder the feeling i get.
anywho. i want to do something exciting tonight. yesterday we sat at peets and drank coffee drinks. today i got books from the library and then we walked around a little. sat in the shade a little. moofed around a little. the usual.

here's that bag i was telling you about.

okay, so i didn't get the greatest before picture but as you can see, it was sort of dingy and gross. so i ripped it all out and then cut a piece of awesome navy and white polka dot in the same shape. then i sewed it in and it took all of 20 minutes. yesssssssssss!

thrift store
after work i stopped at the assistance league to see if they had goodies for me. i haven't been there in a million billion years and i was rewarded.

really adorable. don't know what i'll put in it yet.
i also picked up a gap basket bag for $1.50. the boring beige lining is falling apart so i think i might take it out and put something cooler in it. woop!

last days
oh jeeze.
my brain is mushy from doing a million billion things that lasted from thursday night to monday night. corey took some days off and had a four day weekend so we spent most of the time out of the house going places and doing things.
thursday we drove over to redmond to buy fabric that i couldn't get anywhwere else (puke)
friday we got a new camera. move over kitty, you're not the favorite anymore!! (kidding!!!!!)
saturday we didn't go to the solstice parade but we did go and walk around after it was over and took some picutes with the new camera:
awwwwwwwwww, some peeps decided to get wedding pics at gasworks park with all the people from the parade around.

oh wait..? whats this??

a naked man wondering if they would like "a funny picture" (of his bad shorts tan) for their wedding scrap book.
yesterday i registered for a math class at sccc. WOOP! math class early in the morning for summer. suweet.
i have a million things to tell you like how i got some new shampoo and condiioner and other fun things but my brain can't form anything into complete thoughts right now.
why don't you have a look at some pictures of kitty.
one picture. okay. there it is. i hafta get ready for work!

i don't feel like doing anything right now.
i'm a little late with the spring cleaning, but now i want to get rid of some stuff so the apartments not so cluttered. this afternoon i listed our dining room table (with six mother effing chairs!!) on craigslist. we'll see if there's any takers. just now i went into the bedroom closet to find stuff to give away and i found my trombone. a while ago i almost sold it to some middle aged balding guy from tacoma. he sorted of wanted the horn and offered me $100 for it ( i think i was asking $160) but i said no. i couldn't sell my middle school, jr. high, and high school nerd-alert memories for only $100.
there's this old suitcase that's sitting in the closet that we borrowed from scooter a few years ago. i'd like to give it away because we have a newer, better suitcase, and because i'm sure that scoots doesn't even remember that we borrowed it. but kitty has been using the suitcase for a hide out spot when she's annoyed with us. i feel bad taking that away from her. you know? she has a billion other sitting spots but that one is her newest favorite. there's cat hair all over the front of it. and i don't want to deal with it right now.
moofs.

sigh.
i've got a muffin in the oven (as opposed to a bun in the oven) warming up for my breffix.
corey forgot the lunch i made him and now i'm all sad about it. luckily we just bought a fancy lunch box from FM so i just put it in the fridge and it will stay cold. wait, that sounds dumb. like, if the lunch wasn't in the fidge it wouldn't stay cold without the lunch box. in any case, he's got a new lunch box. and a lunch for tomorrow.
[my muffin is ready]
omg, we watched tv last night and it was soooooooooooooooo bad. some ridiculous cooking show called "hells gay ass kitchen" was on fox for two hours and 7THFUCKINGHEAVEN was also on for two hours. so that's what we did last night. alternate between two dumb shows. we might have watched girlfriends for a few seconds but corey doesn't like that show. i have no idea why.
n-e-wayzzzzzz.
wait. WAIT! little houseon the prairie is on and laura found a small black boy in the barn. i think she said "are you a real negro person?" and then she wiped her finger on his face to see if the color would come off (WTF???!?) then, when his blackness didn't rub off she yelled "YOU ARE A REAL NEGRO PERSON!!!!!!!"
this show is too much sometimes.

bum love.
guess what? we saw a prairie home companion on saturday. along with some blue hairs and people in walkers. jesus we're old. i'm still trying to figure out why we wanted to see that movie. i think i just wanted an excuse to eat a sack of reeses pieces.
later that night we went to the zig zag cafe with brad and parked under the viaduct. WHAT DID WE SEE? two bums doin' it.
made my day.

New Blog Posted on June 9, 2006 12:36PM PST!
god, i really hate getting emails from myspace. GAWD.
last night i went to bed at 8:00. there wasn't anything else to do. i had already eaten too much dinner, tv was dumpsville, and corey was napping on the couch. if corey is napping he needs ABSOLUTE SILENCE! so i decided i could go to bed. besides, corey woke me up at 5:45 in the morning so i could drive him to top pot donut and i was still pretty tired from that.
so anyway, i slept most of the night. except when kitty was demanding to be fed at 11 so i got up, fed her, went back to bed. done and done. both corey and i woke up a little before 5 and got up because we heard a lot of fire truck sirens. corey suspected something nearby was on fire and there was a police car blocking traffic outside of the laundry mat. so i turned on the tv to check the news and.............................. .................... .......... . ... ...
nothing.
who knows.
so then i made breakfast and then stepped in cat barf and then cleaned cat barf and went back to bed for a while.
who wants to bet that this weekend will be dumpy?

treats
oh man, for lunch i had left over yellow curry from kaosamai. OMG THE MOST DELICIOIUS THING I'VE EVER EATEN! the potatoes are cooked in such a way that they taste like fluffy clouds infused with flavor that kind of melt in your mouth. i keep thinking about all of the other times i've had yellow curry at other places (thai ginger, kwan jai) and the potato is always undercooked. i kinda thought that was how it was supposed to taste. gross! makes me shudder.
i'm eating one of those caramel apple pops right now. even though i had peanut m'n'ms before that. and before that was curry. sheesh. too many treats in one day! i might explode!
after work i might go home and finish cleaning my sewing area. then i might boof around on the computer for a while. i also might wrap packages and then go to the post office and then maybe i'll walk half way down town to meet corn-dogs on his way home from work.
doot doot doo.

time wastin!
i started cleaning my sewing area earlier. then i had to stop because it got too dusty.
instead i'm wasting time watching vids again.
go watch this loretta lynn and conway twitty video.
about 1:54 minutes into the song i think she says "there ain't no babies in your bucket." and he says "we'll explain it honey, the best that we can." does that mean what i think it means? (no sperm in the ding dong?) jeeze that's gross. either way though, i still love the song.
wait, after listening a few more times i'm guessing she saying
"there's no berries in your bucket" which is not gross and makes sense. OH WELL.

junester
fuck, it's june!
i have a lot of things to tell you, blog, but i'm not sure what to start with.
okay, first: go watch this video on youtube. you're more listening to the song than the video but whatever. i can't get it out of my head. the only words i can use to describe how i feel about the knife is "totally fucking awesome" and that's a little bit lame. i'm not one with words, just go watch it and then find some other vid's to watch: like this.
now that's out, heres a story of friday night. i rode the bus downtown to meet corey after he had afterwork drinks with peeps. i decided to wear my totally awesome shoes that are totally too small. for some reason i didn't think i'd be walking around that much. well turns out i was wrong. WRONG! i walked all around and now i'm expecting my toe nail to fall off. well, maybe not. after i walked around forever and met corey we decided to eat at il fornaio in pacific place. i had never eaten there before but corey had. it wasn't very busy for a friday but they sat us right next to the bus station. corey ordered some wine and as the waiter was setting my glass down he dropped corey's glass which broke and spilled red wine and glass shards everywhere. we got to move tables. we then ordered our food and when it came both pastas were undercooked. $80 for the worst dinner ever! in hindsight, this shouldn't be suprising at all considering one lunch we had at the il fornaio "deli" place out in the mall. corey's sammich was still frozen inside and i had to go get another one and tell them to toast that mother f-er.
anyway, bad dinner experience. oh well.
we then went upstairs to see an inconvenient truth
there's not much to say about it so just go and see it.
then we left and walked to the bus. this dude passed us and said "excuse me, do you have change for two canadian dollars?"
so i stopped because it didn't seem like the typical bum begging for money question. i said " what? you want change for canadian money?"
and he said "yeah, i just need a dollar for the car park." then i go " are you lying to me? you want a dollar and you'll give me canadian money? what am i gonna do with that?" he said "no, i'm not lying" so i said " here's four quarters just take it." and left. we get to the bus stop and wait for-ever. after about 15 minutes i see the dude again looking at his hand full of money. he stands behind us. i know he's there but corey doesn't. he says "do you guys have change for a dollar?" and i turn around and yell "i already gave you a dollar!" and he says "yeah, but do you have change for a dollar?" so i say "NO! i gave you a dollar 3 blocks ago!" again he says "i know,( but i'm pretty sure he didn't recognize me) so you don't have change?" then i scowled at him and he walked away. then he ended up getting on our bus and i really wanted to yell at him again. god. i don't know what i was thinking. i don't give money to people ever. guh.
yesterday was the laziest day in the history of lazy days. i slept for too long and then felt tired for the whole day. the only thing of note that i did was consume too many fruits. fresh fruits, naked juices. blueberries (in a muffin) and so on. we walked around capital hill last night and that was a nice change of scenery.
i need to go shopping today for
-toothpaste
-cat food
-people food
