eatin muffins, drinkin juice.

it's snowing again. i made corey go with me to the store so we could go out, if even for just a few minutes, and play.
someone has molded a giant snow dong in the parking lot of the laundry mat. i wish i had my camera with me.

there has been A LOT of activity in the shop over the last few days, which is totalllllly awesome, it's just that it's hard to "stock the shop" when someone buys the stuff you listed. no biggie though, i have some pouches made to list, but we'll see if the weather cooperates in the 'daylight' department tomorrow.

oh, check it out.

i picked up this cathrineholm platter thing today at the goodwill. except that when i bought it i didn't know that, i recognized the pattern as something i'd seen somewhere else, but i couldn't remember the name. so then i went home and found out. it's pretty neat-o. i think it might become the new fruit/veg holder.

snowing again.

i went to the post office this afternoon and when i came out it was doing this retarded hail/snowing business. barf-o-rama.

here are some holiday things i made yesterday.
corey asked me to make an ornament for a work auction thing and i didn't really want to do anything. he said i should do something like

i didn't have the pattern anymore though, so i made a new one that looks better. and has a more sassy tail.

the white feathers are my favorite part.

saturday i went to joannes and found the white corduroy in the remnants bin for 75% off. i also got other fabric and i'm really excited. really really excited.

okay. gotta go do dishies and cook dinster.

why the hell is it snowing.

it's dark and snowing. i got so much crap sewn today!! i missed the window of time when there is enough "daylight" to take pictures of anything though. butts. hopefully tomorrow won't be a dump.

last night we went to the boxcar with peeps. other people did karaoke but i did not. neither did corey. but it was still really fun.

i just asked corey if he wanted a quesadilla for dinner and he said "i just had a buttload of cheese" so i said "well, then you can have an empty quesadilla" and then he said "what? i can have a peanut butter quesadilla?!"
.......... and it doesn't sound bad. we have nutella too. mmmmmmm. melty pb and nutella..............

pumpkin cheesecake for breffix!

soo, it's the day after t-giving. i can't believe how fast the month of november is happening. all of the leaves have fallen off the trees. and it's starting to get dark all day long. (except today, seems there might be a sun break soon)

i'm going shopping today with eva and carolyn. i'm not expecting to get anything but SOCKS. like ten hundred pairs of SOCKS. i have exactly 6 pairs of socks which i got last year for x-mas and they are all worn out. it would also be nice to go to sephora and buy some mascara. but you know, whatever happens happens. i up for anything.

this morning i dropped corey off at work and i could see parade stuff going on the next street over. there were a bunch of busses from kent and i saw their marching band all lined up.

on a totally unrelated note, i've noticed that i'm getting "cell phone arm" and "cell phone wrist" if i talk on the phone from anywhere between 12-18 minutes. and it doesn't go away for a long long time.

yesterday we walked to the u district and i got sick. i think maybe an ave rat coughed on me while walking down the street. hahaha.
i've taken 3 hot hot hot baths and slept a lot. even if i say "i'm sick" corey still demands that i make him meat loaf.

we saw brad and brian last night. corey is watching me blog and it's way creepy so i'm gonna stop now.

sentimental dumps.

omigod you guysssssss!!

yesterday i stopped at the goodwill after work. right away i found a pair of black pants, which was weird because earlier in the morning i was remembering a pair of black pants that i used to have and thinking how nice it would be to have them back. this new pair i found is just as good, if not better. WOOP.
THEN, i was walking around the furniture area and saw a Hon filing cabinet. we were planning on getting a filing cabinet but it's hard to find good ones used and cheap. this one was $20 so i bought it.
when the funiture guy came to pick it up and bring it to the front he asked "which one is it" pointing to it and another filing cabinet next to it. so i said "this one" and he said "why? what's wrong with this other one?" i said "it's gross...........and this one is bigger"
so he says "well you know, bigger is better when it comes to filing cabinets!" then i said "...yeah..."
then, when he putting it in my car, i opened the hatch and said "do you think it will fit?" and he said "i don't know...that is what all the ladies say when they buy furniture here"

okay. so when we brought the new filing thing up i realized that it's "legal" size and now have to transfer all of our files into bigger files. this is lame. i just sat down and put the first few old folders into new folders. one new folder is named "g-ma cards" and is filled with cards sent from corey's gramma. she gets her OWN folder. because she sends a lot of cards.
another folder is named "sentimental dumps" and is filled with letters and post cards from brent and letters to corey from me. i spent a long time reading all that stuff.

i've been using trader joe's shampoo and my hair has never looked so horrible and greasy. today was especially disgusting because it looked greasy on top and frizzy every where else. gross. the shampoo that i normally use is redkin "soft curls" and it's expensive so i have to wait to buy it til i get paid. the last set i had i left in a hotel room in pennsylvania. barf-tastic.

oh man.

this weekend my mom and i went to ikea to buy things for my new sewing area. i got the antonius storage system seen here, minus one of the shelves. i also got one of the storage basket cart things that goes with it. after i got home and started to put the storage cart thing together i realized that it was all boofed up so i drove back to ikea with corey to return it.
a lot of saturday was spent purging stuff. i have filled bags and bags of old clothes. there is still a huge pile of laundry in the bedroom, but hopefully it is ONLY stuff that we wear.
if it's not i will have to go in there and get rid of more stuff.
sunday i oragnized most of my sewing room. i went through all the boxes of stuff i got from an estate sale a while back and seperated everything that i didn't want, which was mostly buttons that were boring looking. i went through all my zippers and sorted by size. today i got a package of zippers in the mail that i had ordered last week and now i'm sure i have over a 100 zippers easy.

we haven't gone on a walk for a while because it's always raining.

saturday we got coffee across the street and i think i saw someone i knew from a long time ago but i'm not sure. since they didn't say anything and i wasn't about to go ask them if i knew them or not.

i hope the etsy site gets finished soon. i miss it and want to check out all the new features and stuff!

dear blog, welcome to dumpsville. population YOU.

i voted today. woo! i wasn't going to because i wasn't sure if i was registered yet at my 'new' address (address is three years old but i only recently re-registered) but then i figured out i was good to go, so i walked over to the church polling place and voted.
corey did the absentee thing and while we were dropping it off at the post office we ran into jon.

i don't have anything exciting to talk about. i'm both really busy and not busy at all. saturday we drank beers with carolyn and shaun at dad watsons. sunday i think we ate out somewhere and i had shephards pie. monday we ate humongous burritos from tacos guaymas and i'm only now starting to recover.

also monday it practically flooded everywhere. traffic was terrible. now it's back to normals-ville.

friday i have a movie date with erin to see running with scissors.

oh, yesterday i got "hit on" in the FM parking lot. this guy and his friend wanted to know where some bar was. i told them and then the guy wanted to know all of my grocery shopping habits. after a while i went inside and was getting money from the atm and the guy found me and then said "you know, when ever i go shopping with a cart i never fill it up. so, maybe next time i go shopping and the next time you go shopping, we could go shopping together and share a cart!"
