mondays

today after work i met up with lui and her friend shawn who were "in the neighborhood" shopping around for records. then t-bone met up with us and after a really really long time of record shopping we went and ate food at some mexi place in ballard. it was really delisious.

today i got a butt load of home work done. tomorrow i have some more math studying to do before we have another test on wednesday. i HAVE to get a really good grade on this test because if i don't i will just DIE.

doodle.

i went shopping for some "work clothes" today and ended up buying two shirts, a red/white striped henley and a red with white polka dots t-shirt. a few minutes ago i realized that i already bought a red/white striped t-shirt from the gap a few weeks ago. and just now i remembered that i have a weird sleeveless polyester red and white polka dot top that i got a the H.O.M.E thrift store a few years ago.

this morning i drove corey to the airport so he can attend some nerd-alert convention in atlanta. he'll be gone until friday. which means that on wednesday, when i start my new job from 3-9, no one will be here to record the first half of the ANTM premier.
and FUCK, i guess i'll also be missing american idol too. CRAP STICKS.

p.s. while i was buying work clothes i found one of those awesome garbage cans that you step on and the lid opens. the cat is really freaked out by it and it's hilarious.

blog times

it's chinese new years and i did one of the things you're not supposed to do.
i bought some shoes.

but, THEY ARE THE CUSTEST SHOES EVER. so i had to do it.
we were walking around yesterday and i saw these shoes in the window of one of the shoe stores in the u-district. they had them in red and i almost died when i saw them. i went in to try them on but the size 9 was "on hold". they let me try them on anyway and it looked like someone had already worn them outside and they were all stretched out . zappos only has them in black which is fine with me.

for dinner tonight i made "enchi-lasagna" and it was pretty good. i didn't use a recipe so i wasn't sure if it would turn out, but corey went back for "thirds" and wanted more after that.

tomorrow i'm going to work all day because there is no school due to the holiday. speaking of work, i got a second job and i start on the 28th. it's only 12 hours a week to start out.
i never imagined myself as one of those people who works and goes to school, here i am with TWO jobs.
weird.

dish pan hands

i just washed a bunch of dishes. and now my hands are soggy.

yesterday after work i drove to alderwood to meet my mom so i could pick up my cell phone which i left at my parents house the day before.
we stopped at ross and i found an awesome pair of tretorn shoes with velcro. i would link to a picture but zappos says they are "out" of tretorn shoes right now. lame.
today after school i walked downtown and met up with corey and we ate lunch together. then i walked around some more and then walked back to school so i could talk to a teacher about taking the express math class (two math classes at once) for next quarter. the teacher was really nice and i'm excited.

i stopped at daiso in the westlake mall while i was out. i saw some nail clippers with red/white polka dots that were so cute. i almost bought them for the cuteness factor alone. i'll have to go back another time and pick them up.

oh, barf.

i totally blew my math test today. i spent the entire class time finishing it and it seemed a lot harder than the practice test that i practiced on. crapper.
i must have stayed up too late last night watching ace of bace vids
(here) and (here) for your view pleasure.

today my brother called me to tell me they are having TWO different chinese new year parties. WTF, BRETT? one is for family and one is for friends. apparently we qualify as both "friends" and "family". i don't know what to do.

OH JEEZE. i had the worst night of sleep yesterday. the jerk upstairs was snoring so loud that both corey and i slept in the living room. sounds like a fun slumber party right? WRONG. i had to sleep on the "areo bed" which is okay if you're laying still but sucks if you're a tosser. and a turner. which i am.
despite the lack of sleep, i went to school early to work on homework. tomorrow is our FIRST exam of the quarter. everything else has been quizes which are almost worthless. i'm pretty excited to rock the socks off the first test.

hm, so i take a nap while i wait for corey to get home or do dishes? maybe i should get sucked into the internet...
