i had a baby

i just got back from taking little baby on a walk. he's asleep in the stroller and i have a few seconds to spend on myself. i have eaten and gone to the bathroom (these things take first priority when he's not in my arms) and now i can indulge myself for a moment and blog.

for anyone wondering.......... my labor started at midnight on june 3rd. which was my actual due date. weird! it happened really fast. my water broke and we went to the hospital. i had him at 4:22 am. i had him naturally and with out any drugs. (boooo yah!)although, i'd like to point out that it did feel like i was on drugs for a lot of it and i do forget parts of what happened and corey reminds me of those parts and i'm all like "what? i did that? ..... oh yeah, now i remember"

i really want to write more about my labor because i'm proud of myself and feel that it's a rite of passage and blah blah blah... but i think it will take longer than i have today to talk about it. so , maybe some other time.

don't do these things.

you know what's really annoying? receiving myspace messages from people "reminding" you that you're pregnant and due in two days.

here's a tip for anyone who knows someone who is pregs. THEY DO NOT NEED REMINDING. it's not funny. it's best to just not talk about baby related things once they are at the point of "popping". also, don't say the word "pop" as in "you're about to pop". don't say "when are you gonna have your baby" either. it's best to avoid anything else along those lines.

more acceptable topics of conversation would be: religion. politics. money............ anything else.
