hey! it's friday.

woop.
this week has seemed to take forever.

booboo is taking his nap right now and i am eating ice cream for lunch. in a minute i will eat some cous cous and then that will be my "real lunch".

this week we tried to go out and do different stuff each day. monday we hit the zoo again to look at the gorilla's. then it started raining and buster complained so we went home. tuesday we went to the grocery store and the baby store to pick up a diaper cover. wednesday we went to a different grocery store. yesterday we went to the zoo again and to the zoomazium. the zoo was packed with lots of peeps because it was so nice out.

okay. please go watch this paula deen clip on hulu. she's making fried gator. i don't know why i just think it seems gross.

here is another link for chicken tetrazzini. i've never made it but maybe eaten it once before. it seems like a really 80's recipe for some reason but i think i want to make it. okay. booboo's up.

i want new shoes.

i need new shoes. booboo just got new shoes the other day. "first walkers" is what the girl at the store called them. see kai run. whoa, there are some CUTE girl shoes on this site. boy shoes too. booboo's are velcro and green/brown/cream.

lately

whoa, peeps. things around here have been changing. booboo is in full toddler mode, walking EVERYWHERE and getting in to everything. he is just now figuring out how to pull drawers open and open cupboards. last wednesday i discovered that his first tooth was coming it. this explains his crankiness lately. last night we came home from my parents house and he cried almost half way home and i think his other toof is now out.

last friday we went to the zoo to check out the zoomazium, which has a little toddler area for kids under 3 to walk around. we went later in the day and most of the kids there were older and not too interested in booboo. he liked them though, and wanted to follow them around.
on the way back we got caught in a rain/hail storm and luckily he had his plastic stroller bubble and i had my northface rain coat. everything else (my pants, shoes) were completely soaked.

we went to the zoo again today but only to check out the animals. there is a little baby gorilla there who is super cute. booboo likes the goats though.

okay. i made these bar cookies today. "hello dolly bars" like these but a little different. i have already eaten too many and might not be able to eat them ever again because they are soo good!!
