out and abooot.

corey's been away on a biz trip this week and he is coming back tonight. being at home by ourselves is REAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLY hard, yaknow? boo boo's schedule always gets wonky when corey is away and one of the nights he didn't go to bed until 12. GAH. this morning i was trying to clean stuff up and whenever i'm in the kitchen he pulls the stool up to the counter and then climbs up to start rummaging through the cupboards. "looking for sch-nacks!" he says. so, i really can't get much cleaning done. in the kitchen or in the living room either. it seems like the only reason to clean up is so that a new mess can be made!

tomorrow we're having friends over for dinner. i'm stressin trying to figure out what/how much i can do before tomorrow so that tomorrow the apartment is clean and there is yummy food to eat.

NOW, it's time to catch up on 30 rock before buster wakes up!

a day with boo boo.

i haven't blogged in over a month. jeeeze! and october was like the longest month ever with five weekends!

i wanted to document what a day with boo boo is like. we are together every day. all the time. sometimes on weekends corey takes him to the park or zoo by themselves and other times we all go together. most weekdays it's just us two during the day though.

(this is a really ROUGH estimate. boo boo's little built in toddler clock is always changing)
8:30-9:00 - we both wake up. he nurses to wake up and so i can lay around for a while and doze if i want to but never really fall back asleep.
9:00 - get up and go to living room. start getting breakfast ready. if corey is still getting ready i made breakfast for everyone which is eggs and toast.
9:15 - eat breakfast. make corey's coffee and lunch if he's taking it.
9:20 corey leaves for work.
9:20-9:50 - futz around for a while and think about where we are going/what we are doing for the day. at some point i will probably be called to the "milkie seat" by boo boo.
9:50 - put on the netflix for boo boo so i can get ready (probably bob the builder or kipper or something like that )

9:50 - 10:20 - shower, get dressed, "do hair"
10:30 - get boo boo changed and dressed for the day. pack bag get stroller ready
10:35 MILKIE SEAT AGAIN ?!
.......
10:50 boo boo gets distracted with books/toys so i let him play for a while
11:15 leave!!! shoes? jacket? snacks?? check,check and check!!

11:20 - coffee shop for a split shot mocha/ milk for boo boo

11:30 - on our way to the zoo
11:45 get to zoo, walk around

12:00 go to indoor kids area , run, run, run!!!!!
1:00 leave , get snacks and walk around some more
1:30 boobo gets cranky. head home
1:45 home!!!!
1:50 milkie seat....lie down in bed so boo boo can go to sleep. i'm exhausted/ should i sleep too?
2:20- can't sleep. get up for lunch and blog time.
3:30 - a little voice beckons me to the bedroom. MA.MA!!!!
3:45 booboo is sleeping again.

4:30-5:15 fart and around and wait for boo boo. he calls for me and i go to nurse again.
5:30 - are we awake yet???? time to turn a show on for boo boo to watch so i can finally get house work done
5:45 - pick up a little. start dishes. do dishes for a while GOD I HATE THE DUMB DISHES THEY NEVER END.
6:15 - think about whats for dinner.
6:17 sit for a second because dishes is too overwhelming. OOOPPPS. i sat in the milkie seat and now boo boo wants to nurse.
6:20 - back in kitchen to make dinster
6:30 call corey to find out when he's leaving so dinner can be ready by the time he gets home
6:35 - 7:20 dinner making....etc.................. this always takes forever even for a simple meal. especially now that boo boo wants to help in the kitchen. sheesh.

7:30 - COREY'S HOME!!!!!!!! LETS EAT.
7:30 - 8:00 eat fooooooooood.
8:00 - sit
8:15 - still sitting.
8:30 - yep, still sitting.
8:45 - probably time to get a bath started
8:50 BOO BOO! it's bath time.
9:30 - bath time is done. now jammie time and wind down
9:45 - sit
10:00 - when the hell is bed time??
10:25 - lets go to bed now PLEASE.
10:30 - in bed for milkies
10:35.....10:45.......10:59 asleeep? yes!!
11:00- 11:45 sit ( in front of the compy)
